LWC REWARDS STAFF FOR IMPROVED PERFORMANCE

The Lagos Water Corporation has rewarded some of its staff for their dedication and commitment to duties, in line with the Performance Enrichment Program, geared towards effective service delivery. The Performance Enrichment Program is a 100-day initiative, pioneered by the Corporation in conjunction with 2ML Consulting Limited, as part of strategies by LWC to meet set targets through the use of modern and innovative business models.

The Managing Director LWC, Engr. Muminu Badmus, expressed gratitude to the management and staff during the award ceremony which held at the Corporation?s Headquarters on the, 21st August, 2017, and also disclosed that, the total zonal collection for the month of July equaled 83 million Naira, a feat that had not been accomplished in the last 10 years.

He however, expressed optimism that the good work would be continuous and award be done on monthly basis.
?The awards ceremony we are witnessing today is just the first in the series of more awards that will be presented to members of staff who would prove their commitment to this program, as today?s event was organized to appreciate individuals and teams who have improved performances in the first 30 days of the Performance Enrichment Program?s kick-off; he added.

Engr. Badmus hinted that the State is giving the Corporation support to succeed and the agency possesses the potentials needed to move forward, as evidenced in July?s performance evaluation.

During the event, smiles were brought to the faces of individuals and teams that were recognized for their achievements as trophies, cash gifts and Certificates of Honor were presented to Zones, Regional Business Units and Water Treatment Plants that had shown improvements in various areas of operations,. These include billing, customer care, revenue collection, water production, growth in active accounts, technology and innovation.

The senior team leader of 2ML Consulting Limited, William Muhairwe commended the Managing Director of the Corporation for his devotion and ensuring the success of the Performance Enrichment Program.
He therefore, encouraged all present especially teams who did not receive awards to take up the good work and ensure that they excel in their performances.

On behalf of the awardees Regional Business Manager, South-East, Mr. Kunle Imam expressed gratitude to the Managing Director for the support and pledged that all the teams are ready to work relentlessly towards achieving the set targets.
