Lagos Water Corporation has apologized to the members of the public over the disruption of Water Supply to some parts of the Lagos Metropolis.

In a statement issued by the Corporation’s Managing Director, Engineer Muminu Adekunle Badmus, at his headquarters office, Ijora, “the disruption of the water supply to some parts of the metropolis is as a result of the Incessant down pour that affected our 11KV line that supplies power to our Iju waterworks, which has adversely affected the production at Iju Waterworks.

Speaking further, the GMD stated that the Engineers are working relentlessly to solve the problem, so that Water Production and Distribution will resume shortly.

He therefore appealed to the general public to please bear with the Corporation, and assured them that Water will be restored as soon as possible. He regretted any inconveniences caused during the period.
