Lagos Water Corporation is partnering with 2ML on Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). The programme is a World Bank Initiative designed as an incentive based programme which attracts incentives for good performance and penalties for performance below the SMART ( Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time bound) level.

This assertion was made during a 2-day sensitization programme, commenced from 17th -18th November, 2016, held at the Corporation Headquarters? Boardroom, Ijora, Lagos. The Team Leader, Dr. William Muhairwe, said ?there is an urgent need to turn around the Lagos Water Corporation?s Operations, Customers billing and Collection efficiency in order to move the Corporation to the next level?.

In his opening speech, the Managing Director, Lagos Water Corporation, Engr. Muminu Adekunle Badmus restated his commitment toward moving the Corporation forward, through effective service delivery that will translate to increase in the revenue generation for the Corporation. He also urged the management and staff of the Corporation to tap into the benefits of the programme for better performance, he stated.

While delivering the training lecture, Dr. William highlighted the Term of Reference (TOR) for short Term High Impact Turn Around Programme, which ranges from; Assessment of the Operations, Setting of Goals and Target , Developing Strategies and Monitoring & Evaluation.






However, as a follow-up to this development, the Management of the Corporation through the Human Resources Department has rolled out an Internal Advert (Vacancies) for the following positions for efficient and effective service delivery:

? Regional Business Manager: GL 14-17
? Production Manager: GL 13-15
? Distribution Manager: GL 13-15
? Quality Assurance Manager: GL 13-15
? Sales and Commercial Manager: GL 13-15
