LWC ASSURES LAGOS RESIDENTS OF WATER SUPPLY SOON, APOLOGIZES FOR INCONVENIENCE CAUSED

Lagos Water Corporation has assured the general public, particularly, the State residents of supply of potable water very soon.

The Corporation explained this in a statement released over the weekend in Lagos.

LWC stressed that the problem earlier experienced that disrupted water supply as a result of heavy downpour that affected the Akute Intakes High Tension (HT) line which stirred the underground cable supplying power to the Adiyan waterworks has been rectified.

“While explaining further, the Corporation stated that “presently, we await Power supply to commence Operations at the Adiyan power plant to supply water to Lagosians”

Once again, apologised to Lagos residents for the inconvenience caused, thanking them for their understanding and cooperation.
