LWC WATER QUALITY MONITORING TEAM TAKES EXERCISE TO IJU, NORTH-EAST REGION

…appeals to residents to always patronize Public Water Supply, as only reliable and guaranteed source.

In her continued efforts to ensure potable and wholesome water is supplied to her numerous Customers across the State, the Lagos Water Corporation, Water Quality Monitoring Team on Tuesday 7th December, 2021 took Water samples from Customers taps at Iju and North-East areas of the Corporation’s coverage areas and analysed insitu

This effort is geared towards building Customers confidence on the quality of water supplied to the Lagos residents.

During the exercise, the Corporation stressed on the need for the residents to always patronise Public water, adding that LWC Water has gone through different treatment processes to ensure its potability, unlike other sources which cannot be guaranteed.

“Public water supply is good for human consumption, because it is safe and free from germs as it conforms with World Health Organisation’s (WHO) Standard.

Groundwater and other informal sector are unsafe because they are not treated, LWC stated.
