MD/CEO CHARGES LWC STAFF FOR COMMITMENT
The Lagos Water Corporation, Managing Director, Engr. Muminu Badmus has charged the Staff members of the Corporation to be Committed to the ongoing reform program in the Corporation, for better service delivery.
The LWC boss disclosed this during the Management-Staff forum on Performance Improvements Program (PIP) held at the LWC Car park, HQ., Ijora, Lagos on Friday 12th, May, 2017.
He said, “this is organised to sensitize the Staff members about steps being taken to ensure smooth running of the affairs of the Corporation for effective service delivery”.
MD further explained that there is need to work with the Consultants engaged by the World Bank to assist the Corporation to rejig the operational system towards achieving the desired goals.
In his Statement, the LWC COO, Engr. Deji Johnson said there is need for change in the attitudes of the Staff members, stating that when this is in place, everything also would fall in place.
Mr. Johnson urged the Staff to do everything possible to move the Corporation forward.
The Head, Projects and Strategy, Mr. Sikiru Ogunlana, in his contributions said, there will be rewards for every member of Staff, when the set target is met.
He therefore enjoined Staff to be committed to the ongoing reform program for Improve in the financial performance of the LWC, Improve in revenue accountability by expanding revenue base and Reduction in system loss of the Corporation, he concluded.
