These will complement the already existing official mailing of memos and correspondence between the two Organizations.

It is worthwhile to note that the 12.15MW Akute IPP was commissioned in 2010 as an alternative power supply to epileptic power source from PHCN, National grid. In the past, the Power plants faced various degree of challenges e.g. scarcity of gas supply etc. which hindered the efficiency of the Plants.

The cheering news is that the IPP has been in incredible form lately supplying power to the major water works of Adiayn, Iju and Akute Intake which has aided uninterrupted production and supply of water to Lagos residents. Equally, the Island IPP supplies power to Waterworks at Onikan, Lekki, Dolphin, Victoria Island among others.

It is on this premise that , I, Engr. Muminu Badmus use this medium to express my sincere appreciation to all the Production Staff (Production Managers etc) for your outstanding performances/achievements of water production close to its optimal designed capacity, . I urge you all to continue and sustain this milestone performance, as the Corporation is committed to assist you in all areas to help you meet your set objectives”, (Adiyan 70MGD.
