NIG. ARMY CANTONMENT, BONNY CAMP (V/I) BASE SETS TO RECONNECT TO LWC WATER, PREPARES TO SETTLE OUTSTANDING DEBTS
Lagos – Recently, the Lagos Water Corporation concluded the the 6-day training on SIM Initiative.
One of the lessons learnt from the exercise was to improve on our database, by bringing new customers irrespective of their status, e.g. New, Old, Distressed, Disconnected Customers among other.
Little did we know that the LWC anticipation to woo back our old customers to our database will soon happen than expected.
The lesson was manifested when delegates from Nigerian Army Bonny Camp (Victoria Island base) came calling to LWC, yesterday, 7th March, 2018, with the sole aim of reconnecting back to LWC water.
While welcoming the delegates led by Colonel Jones Emene and Captain Adeniyi to his office with affection, the LWC, MD/CEO, Engr. Muminu Badmus said that water delivery to Lagosians has improved tremendously with 24/7 supply to over 22million population of the State.
MD added that LWC water is potable and free from germs and other unwanted particles.
“Borehole water is contaminated, public water is the only water that conform with World Health Organization’s (WHO) standard”
He stressed that we are presently powered by IPP 24/7, which is making our operations more efficient and effective.
LWC boss promised to connect them back to LWC water in the next few days, while payment of outstanding debts will follow immediately.
He however, asked Engr. Suraj Ijaiya to fast track the reconnection process and Mr. Micheal Ajose to follow up with the settlement of outstanding debts.
More of this development is expected as an testimony to SIM initiative, popularly known as Dadaism or Dadastic concept.
