LWC RESTORES WATER SUPPLY, APOLOGIZES TO RESIDENTS
Lagos Water Corporation, LWC, has restored potable Water supply to Lagos residents, particularly those that have been affected with the disruption of supply due to the Technical issue, Gas outage at LWC IPP station (Akute Intakes) and Epileptic power supply from National grid.
In a statement released over the weekend in Lagos, the Corporation stated that “Operations commenced at the LWC Adiyan, Iju waterworks and Akute Intakes on public power supply of Ikeja Electricity Distribution company (IKEDC), therefore restored potable water to the affected areas of the State.
LWC therefore apologized to the esteemed Customers over the interruption of water supply, as the Corporation will never toy with the emotions of Lagosians.
However, expressed deep appreciation to the general public, thanking them for their patience, endurance, cooperation and support during the period of Water scarcity, adding that LWC is always ready to serve them better.
The Corporation so enjoined Lagosians to continue to support the Government’s efforts in sustaining potable water supply in the State, as the State Government is undauntedly working assiduously to ensure adequate supply of potable Water to every home in the State.
