3rd National Urban Water Sector Reform (NUWSR): EKITI STATE OFFICIALS LAUD LWC OPERATIONS

Ekiti State Officials have lauded the operations of Lagos Water Corporation, described the activities as International Best Practice.

This was revealed during the Ekiti State Government Officials Industrial tour to Iju Waterworks on Thursday 13th August, 2020, under the Third National Urban Water Sector Reform (NUWSR) in Ekiti.

Briefing our correspondence on the visit to the 45MGD (Million Gallons per Day) Waterworks, the LWC Head, Water Quality Assurance, Mr. Doyin Omotayo stated that, “the purpose of the visit is to educate the Ekiti State Officials on how Water purification is being done in Lagos State, and how to improve water production system in Ekiti”.

With the level of professionalism, efficiency and performance found during the tour, the Ekiti State Officials however praised the Operations of LWC, described it as International Best Practice with World class plants, while applauded Engr. Muminu Adekunle Badmus led Administration for giving the “Land of Honour and Integrity” Officials the opportunity to tour one of her largest major waterworks.

LWC staff involved in the tour were, Mr. Doyin omotayo Head (WQA); Mrs jaiyeola H(Iju lab); Mr Rotimi adewusi (Iju Deputy Production Manager); Mrs Lateefat Shonubi and Mrs komolafe (Quality Assurance Staff).
