“BELIEVE IN LWC THAT WORKS”: WATER QUALITY ASSURANCE SHOWS GREAT EXAMPLE, COMMITMENT

… takes Water Quality Monitoring Exercise to North East, as residents show total confidence in LWC service delivery

In the beginning God created heaven and earth…………He created man in his own image, and created man with Comfort and Challenge.

Martin Luther king Jr., said and I quote, “the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

Every Business Organisation, whether Commercial, Industrial Enterprise or Social Service has its Ups and Downs at one time or the other. The ultimate goal of a man is to overturn the Challenge to comfort.

Lagos Water Corporation like any other business enterprise has its Challenges, “LWC that works” is a statement of fact and not a statement of fiction for entire staff of the Corporation to believe, tap into, buy-in, show great commitment and demonstrate, in inspiring and giving us the courage to act upon our dreams towards taking LWC to the dream land of honey.

It is our collective responsibility to show great commitment, dedication and demonstrate to the general public, particularly, our Esteemed Consumers/Customers in having faith and total confidence in the Corporation’s service delivery in the State.

On Wednesday 16th September, 2020, LWC Water Quality Monitoring Team, was at the “Centre Stage” again, demonstrating its activities towards believing in “LWC that works”, as the team took the exercise to North East region of LWC operations coverage area of Lagos State.

The team were at the region not only to take water samples from customers taps, analysed and ensured it conforms with World Health Organisation’s (WHO) standards for drinking potable water, as part of its practice, but also, to change the customers negative perception, towards believing that “LWC is working”, as its evident in Improve service delivery.

During the interactive sessions with customers on improved water supply and verification of payment of bills, questionnaires were filled by customers on how to improve on her service delivery.

In the Consumers’ swift response/reaction towards the activities of the Corporation, residents showered encomium on the Corporation, towards the the exercise and improve in water supply, and displayed total confidence in the activities of LWC, through prayers, praises, amongst other encomium.

The exercise was in furtherance to LWC (Water Quality Monitoring Team) commitment and dedication towards providing potable water to its customers, as the team “Believes in LWC that works”.
