
LWC WATER QUALITY MONITORING TEAM COMMITS TO HIGH STANDARD WATER DELIVERY, TAKES EXERCISE TO SOUTH WEST REGION
…visits Federal Housing Estate, Satellite Town; Alawo Osunbo Street, Mazamaza; Olayemi Street, Mazamaza; Ifebajo Street, Mazamaza, among other areas/streets of LWC Operation/Service coverage areas in the Region
Lagos water corporation, Water Quality Monitoring Team on Wednesday 13th October, 2021 committed to high standard Water delivery, as the team took Water Monitoring Exercise to South West Region of LWC Service Coverage Area of Lagos State.
This was revealed by the LWC Head, Water Quality Assurance Department, Mr. ‘Doyin Omotayo in his Ijora Office, today Friday 15th October, 2021.
Mr. Omotayo stated that the exercise is in continuation of its regular water quality routine checks (Sampling & in-situ Analysis) on water delivered to her customers.
“LWC Water Quality Monitoring team is presently embarking on its holistic Water Quality Monitoring/Sensitisation & Awareness campaign to monitor water quality at customer’s taps in order to ascertain quality service delivery to her customers and ensure residents are served with quality water, thereby promoting good water sanitation and hygiene.
“Our priority is continuous delivery of high standard water service to the ever increasing population of the State”.
Part of the areas covered were: Federal Housing Estate, Satellite Town; Alawo Osunbo Street, Mazamaza; Olayemi Street, Mazamaza; Ifebajo Street, Mazamaza among other LWC Service Coverage Area in the Region.
The team is expected to visit another region in its unquantifiable efforts to assure Lagosians of continuous production and supply of World Health Organisation Standards Water.
