IPP POWER OUTAGE DISRUPTS OPERATIONS AT LEKKI, SAKA TINUBU, ALEXANDER WATER PLANTS

…LWC regrets any inconveniences caused

Lagos Water Corporation has attributed present disruption of Water supply at the LWC Lekki, Saka Tinubu and Alexander Waterworks to the Independent Power Plant (IPP) Power outage at Lekki

This was revealed by the Corporation today, Monday 4th April, 2022 in Lagos.
In its statement released, “the present disruption of Water supply to some parts of the State, namely: Lekki, Saka Tinubu and park view estate is as a result of Lekki IPP Power Outage due to capacity issues”.

LWC has however affirmed that efforts are ongoing for alternative power supply, adding that LWC is working to improve and stabilize service delivery in the State.

The Corporation therefore regrets any inconveniences caused, and appeal to the residents of the affected areas to bear with LWC, as the Corporation has assured of restoration of potable water supply soon.
