Update on Lekki, Alexander Water Distruption: LWC BRINGS RELIEF TO LEKKI, PARK VIEW ESTATE RESIDENTS AS OPERATIONS RESUME

There is relief among the residents of Lekki, Park view estate of Lagos State, as Lagos Water Corporation restored potable water supply to the affected areas earlier disrupted by Lekki Independent Power Plant (IPP) Power outage due to capacity issues.

The Corporation on Thursday 14th April, 2022 in its release/statement stated that operations has resumed at the Lekki and Alexander Waterworks respectively.

LWC added, “We wish to inform the public, particularly, residents of Lekki and Park view estate, Ikoyi, that power on Lekki IPP is being restored at Lekki and Alexander Waterworks on Tuesday 12th and 13th April, 2022 respectively, as Water productions are in progress.

“Efforts are ongoing to commence operation at the Saka Tinubu Waterplant, also affected by Power outage”.

While apologising to the general public for the Water disruption in the State, the Corporation wishes Lagos residents Happy Easter Celebrations in Advance, restating its commitment towards improving water supply in the State.
