…explains efforts made towards reinstating Water supply to the Estate

…appeals to residents for Cooperation, Support and Understanding towards achieving desirable results

Lagos Water Corporation has restated its commitment towards service delivery to the residents of the State, particularly, Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos.

This assertion was made on Wednesday 20th April, 2022, at Ijora, Lagos.

While explaining efforts made so far towards reinstating Water supply to the affected Community of the State, which was earlier disrupted by saline affected borehole.

The Corporation explained, “it is pertinent to keep the residents of Dolphin Estate abreast on efforts made by the Corporation towards restoration of Water supply to the Dolphin Estate, as the Corporation is ever committed towards service delivery in Lagos State.

LWC stated, “following meeting held at Dolphin Estate Association Secretariat, Ikoyi on Saturday 13th March, 2022 on the way forward towards restoration of Water supply to the affected Estate.

LWC continued, “the Management of LWC has continously embarked on vital activities/efforts as planned to revive the saline/collapse borehole, thereby restoring Water supply to Dolphin Estate.

Further explained, “in as much as we engaged/employed one efforts or the other to remedifying the problems hindering Water production from Dolphin Waterworks to the Estate. It is disheartened to announce at ths stage, that, we continously encountered one challenge or the other which detered our efforts to achieve set goal, that undermine our hope of Water restoration”.

At this premise, It is worthwhile to inform you, our Premium Customers that the Corporation has concluded plans to dig new borehole to replace Saline affected borehole which disrupted potable water supply to the Estate, since 28th February, 2022.

The Corporation, however, apologised to the residents of Dolphin Estate for the present Water disruption being experienced, sorry for the inconvenience this might have caused and appealed to the residents for Cooperation, support and understanding, as the Corporation is working assiduously to reinstall Water supply to the Estate soon, LWC stated.
