
LWC Thanksgiving Service: ENGR. BADMUS CALLS FOR RENEWED VIGOUR, HOPE, PREACHES LOVE AND UNITY FOR BETTER CORPORATION… as LWC workers mark first working day with prayers and praises.
Following the Lagos Water Corporation, Managing Director/CEO, Engr. Muminu Adekunle Badmus 2023 New Year Message to LWC Management and entire Staff on the early hour of Sunday 1st January, 2023, the entire LWC Workforce/Staff resumed and marked first working day with thanksgiving service with prayers and praises to Almighty God, as Engr. Badmus called for renewed vigor, hope for better LWC.
The LWC Managing Director stated this today, Tuesday 3rd January, 2023 while thanking Almighty God during the Service held at the MD/CEO Office, Headquarters, Water-House, Ijora, Lagos.
While thanking the Almighty God for His guidance over the entire Staff towards witnessing year 2023, upon numerous challenges hindering Service delivery in the State during the previous year. Engr. Badmus also siezed the opportunity to preach and urge the entire Staff to embrace peace, unity and love for better and peaceful atmosphere in the Corporation, towards improved LWC.
However, thanked the Governor, Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu led administration for his pragmatic approach for Emergency/Intervention, Complete Rehabilitation and Expansion of LWC major Waterworks towards improved service delivery the State.
Stressing that, Staff should work towards being a good ambassadors, be focus and steadfast on daily responsibilities. He added, “We all have a big stake in the Corporation, let us be committed to work and imbibe positive attitudinal change, be determined and committed towards a successful LWC in the year 2023”.
Joined the LWC boss to thank the Almighty God for His divine mercy and intervention towards resuscitating the Corporation, committing the Staff and LWC to the hand of Almighty God, as the Corporation is celebrating year 2023 were, Director, Finance and Accounts, Mr. Aro Ibrahim; Director, Internal Audit, Mrs. Peju Isola; Director, Budget and Planning, Mr. Kunle Imam; Director, Property and General Services, Mrs. Kareem Ganiat; Deputy Director, Budget and Planning, Mrs. Opeifa Silifat; Assistant Director, Public Affairs, Mrs. Fashola Kehinde; Assistant Director, Administration and Human Resources, Mrs. Ibiok Titilayo.
Also, present at the thanksgiving session included, the Program facilitator, Director, Administration and Human Resources, Mr. Sheriff Akinpelu; Director, ICT, Mr. Oriola Rufai, Deputy Director, Distribution, Engr Olatunji Saheed; Deputy Director, Legal/Company Secretary, Mr. Lanre Fashola.Others were, Assistant Director, Public Affairs, Mr. Anifowoshe Rasaq; Assistant Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, Engr. Titilola Oridami-Bright; Head, Security, Mr. Babajide Kazeem and Barrister Derin Dada Legal Department.
The session ended with a light refreshments, as the Corporation is embarking on a journey of a new opportunity for a better LWC.
