LAGOS WATER CORPORATION APOLOGISES OVER WATER DISRUPTION
Lagos Water Corporation has apologized to members of the public over the disruption of Water Supply to some parts of Lagos Metropolis.
In a statement issued by the Corporation’s Managing Director, Engineer Muminu Adekunle Badmus, at his Headquarters Office, Ijora, “the disruption of water supply to some parts of the metropolis is as a result of some technical challenges at our Akute-Intake Independent Power Project (IPP), and this is seriously affecting Power Supply to our Adiyan, Iju Major Waterworks and some Water Stations’ facilities across the State”.
Speaking further over the disruption of Water Supply, the Managing Director stated that the Engineers are working diligently to address the problems and find alternative power supply to our Waterworks, so that Water Production and Distribution will be at its optimal.

He therefore appealed to the general public to please bear with the Corporation, and assured them that Water will be restored as soon as possible. He regretted any inconveniences caused during the period.
