LWC APPEALS TO THE PUBLIC

Lagos Water Corporation has appealed to the general public for the discomfort and inconveniences presently experienced over disruption of water supply in the last few days.

In a statement issued today at the Water House, Ijora, Lagos, the Corporation’s Managing Director, Engr. Muminu Adekunle Badmus said “the disruption of water supply being experienced recently in some parts of the metropolis is due to a technical fault at our Akute Intake which affected our Major Waterworks at Iju and Adiyan.

While assuring the Public of the Corporation’s commitment towards providing uninterrupted water supply, he urged the public to bear with Lagos Water Corporation as the problem is for a short while.

The MD further stated that the Corporation’s Engineers are presently working to repair the fault, he concluded.
